Yesterday was the BIG day.
Over breakfast I got an idea for a new post. I whipped out my phone and made a note in my blogging app. Chatting away to my husband about my excitement and nerves, sharing my thoughts about this new idea.
And then it happened.
I hit ‘Publish’ instead of ‘Save.’
*insert feeling of extreme nausea and panic*
Well I wasn’t feeling like such a hot-shot anymore. I raced to the computer to delete it before anyone could see.
And then guess what happened?!
OUR INTERNET WAS DOWN.
My earlier expletives were replaced by new F letter swear words.
My husband got the internet working and I was able to get everything deleted within six minutes of my accidental post. I had avoided an embarrassing disaster.
And then I heard the ‘ding’ of my email notification.
*insert additional F words*
The moment I hit ‘Publish’ an email went to everyone subscribed to receive email notification of new posts. The wonders of technology.
I quickly recovered, realizing it was highly likely that anyone already subscribed was a friend – I hope you’re having a little chuckle as you read this!
I definitely have a lot to learn but I’d love if you’d stick around for the ride. Because honestly, who doesn’t love a good embarrassing disaster 😉
