When it comes to parenting (and navigating life in general) it’s really easy to get caught in the trap of wanting to “do the right thing.”
But the way I see it, it doesn’t matter if you’re always right.
Totally screwed up drop off today?
Well lucky for you, you get a do-over tomorrow! Woohoo!
Dinner a nightmare?
You get to regroup and start fresh in less than 24 hours.
Completely put your foot in your mouth at yoga?
Well next Thursday at 7:45 you’ll get a chance to make it right.
So forget about being perfect.
And forget about always doing the “right” thing.
Always being “on” is totally overrated, if not impossible anyway.
Keep moving, keep learning, keep growing, keep changing.
Do that and you can’t go wrong.
