My kids can be a little nuts.
I’m sure it’s familiar territory to all the parents of active kids out there (or to anyone who happened to be staying at the same Holiday Inn Express as our son’s lacrosse team of 5-6yo boys last weekend… 🙈)
So when the concept of teaching kids mindfulness comes up I usually have to hold back from laughing out loud or outright dismissing it as a total write off.
A few of the biggest myths when it comes to yelling at your kids:
